Team SeaHunter takes lead in Key West fishing tournament

Team SeaHunter took the lead at the Final Sail Tournament in Key West with a two-day total of eight sailfish releases.

But it is a narrow margin going into Saturday’s final, as the second-, third- and fourth-place boats — Lions Den, No Vacancy and Lights Out — each have six releases, according to unofficial results.

A fleet of 40 boats is vying for a share of the $500,000 purse, and there is a close race between three teams to win the overall Quest for the Crest series championship, which began in December.
