The Bills finally get on the scoreboard with 12:36 left in the game. Josh Allen connects with Keon Coleman for a 35-yard touchdown down the left sideline.

The critical two-point conversion fails. Allen completes a pass to Khalil Shakir, who is tackled by cornerback Jack Jones short of the goal line.

On the second play after the Dolphins get the ball back, De’Von Achane races 59 yards for a touchdown. The Dolphins lead 23-6. Achane has 19 carries for 138 yards and also six catches for 51 yards.

Early action

The Dolphins are leaning heavily on the two offensive players who are healthy, targeting Jaylen Waddle and De’Von Achane plenty in the first half.

Waddle caught 4 of 5 passes throwing his way, which produced 78 yards. One of them was a 38-yard dime from Tua Tagovailoa that Miami scored on.

Achane handled 12 first half carries, producing 64 rushing yards. He also caught all five passes thrown to him, providing another 47 yards.

JuJu Brents starts at CB

The mystery about who will start opposite Jack Jones as Rasul Douglas’ replacement ended during announcements as JuJu Brents, the cornerback Miami claimed off the waiver wire after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts, was announced as a starter.

This will be his first start with the Dolphins, and the 10th of his career. Brents competed with Ethan Bonner and Jason Marshall Jr. for the role of boundary cornerback and seemingly edged out both. However, don’t be surprised if Miami rotates cornerback in this game.

INACTIVES:

Cornerback Rasul Douglas (foot/ ankle), edge rusher Chop Robinson (concussion) and safety Ashtyn Davis (quadriceps) all won’t suit up, per the team. All three are starters.

Additional inactives include linebacker Andre Carter II, receiver Dee Eskridge, tight end Julian Hill and Quinn Ewers, who will serve as the emergency third quarterback. On the bright side, Ollie Gordon II, who was initially listed as questionable with an ankle injury, will play.
