Dolphins starting guard James Daniels ruled out with pec injury vs. Colts

It took just three snaps.

Miami Dolphins right guard James Daniels injured his pectoral early in the first quarter of the season opener against the Indianapolis Colts. After the Dolphins officially listed him as questionable to return, he was later ruled out, according to the team.

With Daniels out for the rest of the game, Kion Smith will fill in along the interior.

Daniels was initially questionable heading into Sunday’s game after he suffered an ankle injury on Thursday.
