Miami Dolphins

Who is Noah Igbinoghene, the Auburn cornerback the Miami Dolphins drafted at No. 30?

The Miami Dolphins selected Noah Igbinoghene with the 30th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday. The pick comes four spots later than Miami was initially supposed to pick after the Dolphins the No. 26 pick to the Green Bay Packers. Here’s what you need to know.

Position: Cornerback

College: Auburn

Height: 5-10

Weight: 198 lbs

Stats: 92 tackles, 1 interception, 18 defended passes

Comment: After going offense in quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and offensive tackle Austin Jackson with their first two picks, the Dolphins close out Day 1 by adding to their secondary. Igbinoghene, the son of two former Nigerian Olympians, moved to cornerback as a sophomore after starting his career at Auburn as a wide receiver. It’ll be interesting to see what the Dolphins do from here since they already have Byron Jones and Xavien Howard at corner.
