Spring training is in full swing. Individual work has progressed to live batting practice sessions. Grapefruit League games begin in just a matter of days.

Indeed, there’s a lot going on with the Marlins right now.

The latest episode of Fish Bytes takes a look back at the first week of camp ahead of the team’s first “official” full-squad workout on Tuesday — just about everyone has already been in camp so Tuesday’s report date is merely a formality.

Eury Perez, the Marlins’ 19-year-old pitching prospect phenom, was a highlight throughout the first few days and he has been smart to latch onto Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara. Jazz Chisholm Jr. also had high praise for Trevor Rogers, who is trying to rebound from a poor 2022 season.

On the second half of the episode, Jordan McPherson takes you inside the clubhouse with interviews from Braxton Garrett, Sean Reynolds and Josh Simpson.
