Jowan Watson helps Gulliver cruise past Keys Gate
Things got off to a rocky start for Gulliver Prep when Keys Gate Charter’s Andre Gardner returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a score.
But the host Raiders settled down after that and cruised to a 27-7 victory to send their homecoming crowd home happy.
Gulliver quarterback Jowan Watson enjoyed a big day as he completed 12 of 20 passes for 193 yards and four touchdowns to carry the Raiders, who finished the regular season 6-4 and will head north to Belle Glade next week to take on Glades Central in a first-round playoff game.
