North Miami (9-1) heads into the postseason with momentum, capping off its regular season with a 42-14 win against Edison (4-6) at North Miami Stadium.
Quarterback Hilton Joseph led the charge for the Pioneers, throwing for three touchdowns and 173 yards on 14-of-18 passing. On the ground, Joseph picked up 82 yards and a rushing touchdown on just six carries.
The Pioneers will take on Coral Gables in the first round of the playoffs Friday.
“This win gives us momentum, but now it’s win or go home. Everyone is 0-0 so we have to stay focused and get ready for Coral Gables,” said North Miami coach Ed Williams.
