Booker T. Washington Tornadoes extend winning streak to 34 games

The Tornadoes (8-0, 2-0) showed how much separation there is between them and the rest of District 16-4A in a 42-8 defeat of Gulliver (4-4, 1-1) at Sean Taylor Memorial Field that extended their win streak to 34 in a row.

Maurice Alexander completed 12 of 15 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns — all in the first half as the entire second half was played under a running clock. He also ran in another score and rushed for 52 yards on 10 carries.

Darius Scott racked up 151 receiving yards, including a 70-yard touchdown catch.

Senior defensive back Ocie Rose had two touchdowns on fumble recoveries.
