Results are in. Gulliver water polo standout voted Dade High School Athlete of the Week
Gulliver Prep water polo standout Kathleen Serig is the Dade High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.
Serig, a junior, totaled 16 goals, 10 assists and six steals in wins over Miami Country Day, MAST, West Orange and Ransom Everglades.
Through 19 games this season, Selig has 95 goals and 39 assists. Gulliver is 16-3 overall on the season and has won 10 consecutive games.
Norland boys’ basketball’s Triston Wilson, Columbus boys’ basketball’s Cameon Boozer, Westminster Christian baseball’s Lazaro Collera and Coral Reef baseball’s Dylan Quinzada rounded out this week’s participants.
The Miami Herald Athlete of the Week polls — one each for Miami-Dade and Broward counties — open Sunday every week and close around 10 p.m. Thursday.
