Results are in. Edison soccer standout voted Dade High School Athlete of the Week

Edison girls’ soccer standout Pierre-line Senat is the Dade High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.

Senat had a goal and an assist to help the Red Raiders rally from a 1-0 deficit to beat Palmetto and claim their first ever GMAC championship.

Edison is a perfect 12-0-0 this season.

Palmetto girls’ basketball’s Sami Anes, MAST boys’ soccer’s Santiago Casserly, Miami High boys’ basketball’s Romari Robinson and Columbus boys’ basketball’s Cameron Boozer rounded out this week’s participants.

The Miami Herald Athlete of the Week polls — now one each for Miami-Dade and Broward counties — open Sunday every week and close around 10 p.m. Thursday.
