Flanagan stays undefeated with dominating win over Western

Flanagan (10-0, 6-0 District 12-8A) dominated Western (2-7, 2-4), winning its regular-season finale, 40-6, to remain undefeated.

This season marks the first time in school history that Flanagan won its district.

“When you put all your effort into it and you believe, anything can happen,” said Flanagan coach Devin Bush. “It’s just big for our kids to see that because it’ll carry over in life.”

The Falcons were led by Michael Francis and Arkeem Granger, who scored two touchdowns apiece.

Flanagan has a bye next week. Western will play at South Broward.
