Antwuan Haynes and Archie Banton led Plantation to a big victory over Northeast at PAL Park.
The 49-0 win that bid farewell to this year’s senior class further solified the team atop its district and assured it of being part of the playoffs for the fourth year in a row.
Haynes came up with two big runs of 27 and 41 yards to set the pace for the Colonels (6-2, 3-0) in the first quarter. Maurquice Flowers ran for 42 yards and scored once. Jordan Johnson and Dave Small also had touchdown runs.
Banton threw for 273 yards and two touchdowns. Mitch Milfort caught three passes for 124 passes and both of Banton’s touchdown throws.
For Northeast, Brion Sanchious threw for 102 yards and also led the team in rushing with 18 yards.
