Deven Singletary scores three touchdowns to pace American Heritage Delray Stallions
In a battle of affiliated schools in a nondistrict game, host American Heritage Delray prevailed in matchup that saw a combined 767 yards of offense, 37 first downs and 257 yards in penalties.
Deven Singletary led the Stallions (6-1) to a 45-35 victory with 160 yards on 12 carries, including scoring runs of 80, 6 and 19 yards.
Quarterback Warren Robinson (7 of 11, 133 yards) ran for 93 yards on nine carries, including a touchdown.
Torrance Gibson (11 of 25 for 105 yards) threw two touchdown passes and ran for 105 yards (one touchdown) in the losing effort for the Patriots (5-3).
