Results are in. Aquinas cross-country standout voted Broward High School Athlete of the Week
St. Thomas Aquinas cross-country standout Grace Finneran is the Broward High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.
Finneran, a junior, ran a time of 19:17.54 to win the Larry Wooten Invitational by more than a minute and pace the Raiders to a dominating team win.
West Broward football’s Carlos Morales, Miramar Everglades football’s Kenley Israel and University School football’s Jacques Dixson rounded out this week’s participants.
The Miami Herald Athlete of the Week polls — now one each for Miami-Dade and Broward counties — open Sunday every week and close around 10 p.m. Thursday.
