Results are in. North Broward Prep standout is fans’ choice for top Broward golfer
North Broward Prep’s Camila Terzoli is the fans’ choice for top golfer in Dade for the 2022 season, as voted on by readers.
Terzoli, a senior, was an individual qualifier for the Class 2A state championship, where she finished in eighth place.
More than 17,000 votes were cast in the poll, with Terzoli receiving 37 percent of the votes. North Broward Prep’s Sean Richards, Archbishop McCarthy’s Ryan Lopez, Archbishop McCarthy’s Brent Moore and Archbishop McCarthy’s Eva Almaguer rounded out the top-five vote getters.
All players who were on the Miami Herald’s All-County first team were listed on the ballot.
American Heritage’s Sohan Patel and Katherine Schaefer were previously named the Miami Herald’s boys’ and girls’ golf players of the year for this season.
