Results are in. Chaminade soccer standout voted Broward High School Athlete of the Week
Chaminade-Madonna girls’ soccer standout Julian Stanish is the Broward High School Athlete of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.
Stanish, a junior midfielder/defender, had a combined five goals and three assists to lead the Lions to wins over Avant Garde Academy on Nov. 28 and Posnack on Nov. 30 — Chaminade’s only two wins so far this season.
University School boys’ soccer’s Rafael Guerra, St. Thomas Aquinas football’s King Mack, American Heritage football’s Brandon Innis and North Broward Prep girls’ basketball’s Riley Weiss rounded out this week’s participants.
The Miami Herald Athlete of the Week polls — now one each for Miami-Dade and Broward counties — open Sunday every week and close around 10 p.m. Thursday.
