St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders score in every phase to rout Nova Titans

The Raiders scored in every facet of the game and cruised to a 59-0 victory in their first District 15-7A contest of the season at Nova.

The nationally ranked Raiders (3-1, 1-0) got two return touchdowns, a defensive score and blocked a punt for the sixth time in just four games to dominate the Titans (1-4, 0-2).

“Our goal is to get one big special teams play per game, and so far we’ve done that,” Aquinas coach Rocco Casullo said.

On Friday, the big special teams plays kept coming. After a punt return TD was called back for a holding penalty, Jawuan Harris returned the next punt 38 yards for a score. He followed that up with a 76-yard kickoff return for a score to open the second half.

Defensive tackle Nick Bosa added a 16-yard interception return for a score.
