Cooper City Cowboys open district play with dominating win over McArthur

In the first district contest of the season for both teams, Cooper City (2-2, 1-0) shut out McArthur (0-4, 0-1) at home.

Cooper City scored touchdowns on each of its first six drives.

Junior running back Patrick Pulliam scored twice on the ground, and senior quarterback Tyler Sabine tossed two touchdown passes to lead the Cowboys offense.

The Mustangs were hampered by 13 penalties and two fumbles.

The Cowboys head into their bye week and next play Coral Springs on Sept.29. McArthur will face Flanagan on the road next week.
