Results are in. Central’s McQueen voted Herald High School Football Player of the Week

Miami Central quarterback Anthony McQueen is the Miami Herald’s High School Football Player of the Week, as voted on by readers in our weekly poll.

McQueen threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns and ran for two more to lead Miami Central to a 55-25 win over Miami Booker T. Washington.

Hollywod Chaminade-Madonna’s Preston Wright and J-Roc Lopez, Miami Southridge’s Kamron Wilson, Plantation’s Zacariah Ray and Miami La Salle’s Brandon Kinsey rounded out this week’s participants.

The Miami Herald Football and Athlete of the Week polls open Sunday every week and close around 10 p.m. Thursday.
