The Miami Herald’s All-County award ceremony will be virtual again. Here’s how to watch

Since 1957, the Miami Herald has honored the top high school student-athletes with its annual All-County Athletic Awards ceremony.

For a second consecutive year, the celebration will be virtual.

Our annual high school sports awards ceremony — sponsored by Baptist Health South Florida’s Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute and the Orange Bowl Committee — will take place Wednesday, May 26, at 6 p.m. and can be seen on our Facebook and YouTube pages.

Miami Herald sports columnist Greg Cote is serving as host.

On this night, we will...

Recognize our first-team athletes from Miami-Dade and Broward counties as well as our scholar-athletes.

Announce our players and coaches of the year from 29 sports, as well as our overall coaches and athletes of the year.

Honor our latest Lifetime Achievement and Leo Suarez/Walter Krietsch Courage Award recipients.

The Spring sports All-County sections were posted online Monday and will appear in print on Wednesday, May, 26.
