WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler might just be the toughest Colonel Sanders yet, as the WWE Superstar debuts in a one-of-a-kind partnership between KFC and WWE.
In a showdown with WWE Superstar The Miz (playing Puppers Cluckers chicken), Ziggler as the Colonel shows everyone that there’s no room in the ring for the second-rate chicken. The Miz does his usual good job as the foil/fowl.
The two-minute video debuted globally during SummerSlam on Sunday, Aug. 21 from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the biggest sports and entertainment event of the summer.

KFC worked with WWE to produce the stunt, and it will run in WWE Network broadcasts in 2016, concluding with Royal Rumble in 2017. The stunt plays off KFC’s existing brand campaign where celebrities such as Jim Gaffigan, George Hamilton and Darryl Hammond play the famous Colonel.
