The Next Big Sing: Heather Kid Cadet Reicher
During Florida Supercon at the Miami Beach Convention Center, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley conducted a Q&A, moderated by the cute and talented Heather Kid Cadet Reicher.
Foley, who’s worked with Kid Cadet prior, not only noted her singing acumen but proved it by performing a duet with her.
And the crowd thoroughly enjoyed it...
Kid Cadet, who auditioned for American Idol as a teenager, is no stranger to Florida Supercon nor Florida wrestling. A longtime wrestling fan, she’s interviewed talent for FIP Wrestling and Ronin Pro Wrestling. She’s hosted wrestling segments and interviewed talent online. She participated in a Ring of Honor show.
There’s more. She sang the National Anthem for ACW Florida and FIP wrestling shows as well as a Florida Marlins baseball game at Dolphins Stadium. She also handled ring announcing duties and recap show talk for Shine.
Kid Cadet is 30 but looks much younger. Good genes thanks to Cathie and Ricky.
A student of pop culture, history and pro wrestling, she knows her wrestling past and present. With that knowledge and sporting a unique look, she is comfortable with a microphone, speaking and singing in public or on social media.
She can also hit the curve ball, improvising on the spot when required. That helps when she is hosting, interviewing and moderating at events like Animate! Miami, Magic City Comic Con, Megacon, Paradise City Comic Con and Florida Supercon.
Whether she’s singing pro wrestling theme songs on YouTube or displaying her photos with celebs, family, fans and friends, Kid Cadet has a solid following via social media, too, which includes Foley. The hardcore legend even wore a Kid Cadet T-shirt during the Q&A at Florida Supercon and afterward at his table.
