The lovely and talented Kristen Renton of “Sons of Anarchy” fame signed autographs, posed for photos and even participated in the Ronin Pro Wrestling show during the Magic City Comic Con Jan 16-18 at the Miami Airport Convention Center.

Seated next to the pro wrestling legends in the celebrity autograph area of the comic con, the wrestlers convinced her to join them in the Ronin show. She accompanied WWE Hall of Famer Greg The Hammer Valentine and Showtime Stevie Stamos to ringside during the Ronin Rumble battle royal.

Her parents (Edie and Jack) traveled from Clearwater, Fla. to visit with her at the comic con and enjoyed watching her unexpected pro wrestling debut. She even gave heel wrestling valets a run for their money, complete with a “Sons of Anarchy” attitude, a cool Charlie Sheen gift (a biker type jacket) and her own eight-inch heels.

What a nice person. Renton not only appreciates her fans but is very active in charitable work, especially as an animal activist, supporting ASPCA (https://www.aspca.org/), Best Friends Animal Society (http://bestfriends.org/), Boxer Rescue LA (http://www.boxer-rescue-la.com/), Humane Society (http://www.humanesociety.org/), Save The Manatee (http://www.savethemanatee.org/).

Born in Denver, Renton is a Florida gal, growing up in Clearwater. She played sports and was a cheerleader. She modeled like her older sister but did not have aspirations of Hollywood stardom.

Still, just before her 16th birthday, Renton attended a ‘cattle call’ of more than 350 kids. She was one of only three who were asked to try acting. Soon after relocating to Los Angeles, she found success quickly, while also teaching herself the remainder of her high school curriculum and graduating with honors.

Currently, she is Ima in the popular hit TV crime drama series “Sons of Anarchy” on FX.

Prior, she portrayed Morgan Hollingsworth on NBC’s soap opera “Days of our Lives.” She also appeared in several TV series such as “CSI: Miami,” “CSI: NY,” “The OC, “The Glades” and “Anger Management.”

Upcoming projects are the movie “Battle Scars,” which examines the war experience as well as the wrenching change many veterans face on returning home; and “Sons of Anarchy” costar David Labrava’s film “Street Level.”

She is beautiful, smart and busy, working on a children’s book, a clothing line and a book of photography. She is also completing online courses via Penn State University where her proud parents met.

Ronin Rumble at Magic City Comic Con

The Ronin Pro Wrestling show on Saturday, Jan. 17 during Magic City Comic Con featured Joey Bricco, Colt Cabana, Alex Chamberlain, Donovan, Shane Douglas, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Edward Malken, Al Snow, Jesse Sorensen, Michael Tarver, Greg The Hammer Valentine, Jonny Vandal, and more.

The event drew more than 1,000 people -- some Ronin fans, some comic con fans. All had a good time, cheering their favorites and jeering others. Much support for Colt Cabana and Hacksaw Jim Duggan “Hi ohhhh.”

With just six matches, everyone remained til the end.

The Ronin Rumble showcased 25 superstars competing to win the John Rhue Memorial Cup and a spot in the Ronin Heavyweight Title Tournament. “Sons of Anarchy” star Kristen Renton accompanied Greg The Hammer Valentine and Showtime Stevie Stamos to ringside during the Ronin Rumble. Duggan eliminated Stamos, and Chamberlain eliminated Duggan.

Former WCW and WWE referee Mickey Jay assisted senior referee Bruce Owens outside the ring.

Indie sensation Colt Cabana, Hashtag Warrior Edward Malken and Fitness Guru Joey Bricco were the last men standing with Malken eliminating Cabana to the crowd’s dismay and Bricco then surprising Malken to win it.

Jonny Vandal teamed with mystery partner Al Snow with Head to defeat The Savages (Teddy Stigma and Eddie Graves) with Trina Michaels.

The main event produced an action-packed, crowd-pleasing, aerial battle between Mikaze and Matt Sydal (former WWE superstar Evan Bourne).

The show also included Jeff Boom, Mr. 450 Jesus De Leon, Deimos, The Ladies Man Gregory Edwards, Swole Buff Swellington, and T.E.C.H. (TC Read and Mike Monroe).
