Rachael Ellering proved herself as a powerlifter, like her father did. She is currently proving herself as a pro wrestler, also like her father did.

Ellering, 22, is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Precious Paul Ellering, manager of the world famous Road Warriors/Legion of Doom (Animal and Hawk). Though similiar athletic endeavors, Rachael’s journey is somewhat different than his, pursuing success in those disciplines as a woman.

The athletic, multi-talented and self-driven Ellering, a bronze medalist at the 2014 World Powerlifting Championships, discusses her journey -- school sports, college, powerlifting, and pro wrestling -- before a Coastal Championship Wrestling show (Bodyslamming Parkinsons) on Sunday, April 10, 2016 outside Mickey's Tiki Bar in (South Florida) Pompano Beach.

A college graduate, Ellering is second generation, but make no mistake about it, she is forging her own trail -- first and foremost -- achievement on her own.

A native of Minnesota, she is a graduate of Melrose High School. She then earned a degree in Communication from St. Catherine University in St. Paul. Her quest for learning continued at a higher level as she later attained a degree in professional wrestling from Lance Storm at the Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary, Alberta, Cananda.

“Rachael was what I would call a teacher’s dream student,” said Storm, a former ECW, WCW and WWE wrestler. “She wasn’t a prodigy that instantly picked everything up. She was just the hardest working person in the room -- that wouldn’t stop until she had it right.”

Because of her determination and work ethic, Ellering has already come a long way since just beginning training in September.

Storm added: “She listened, took instruction and criticism well, and just worked harder than you could ever expect. She earned my respect immediately. This woman will succeed, because she has talent and just works too damn hard to ever fail.”

Still, the odds to make at it the greatest level are one in a million.

Ellering said: “When odds are one in a million, be the one.”

Ellering is well on her way to being that one.

Oh! What a Rach!

The Coastal Championship Wrestling show -- led by CCW President/Booker/Head Trainer Pablo Marquez -- was part of a fundraiser hosted by (South Florida’s) Mickey's Tiki Bar for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research.

Marquez, who worked for ECW and WWE, said: “One of my students, Chelsea Durden, was booked for an all girl show in Orlando and worked Rachael Ellering. That’s the first time of even hearing of Rachael, but she brought out the best in Chelsea, and I said to myself, ‘We have to bring this girl to CCW.’ Then when I found out she was Paul Ellering’s daughter, it made me want her to wrestle [for CCW] even more.”
