Allysin Kay on The Roman Show to promote her SHINE 29 title match against Santana
For the first time ever, Shine’s champion Santana will go toe-to-toe with Allysin Kay at SHINE 29 on Friday, Sept. 4 at The Orpheum, 1915 E. 7th Ave. in Ybor City, Fla.

Kay says the champ should expect the unexpected.
The Michigan wrestler joined The Roman Show and says although Santana is the champion, she hasn’t faced someone like her.
“Santana thinks she can go faster because she made herself a cake,” she said. “Santana and I have never been in the ring, ever, not even in a random tag match or some other promotion. She thinks she’s faster, but she’s never been in the ring with me.”
Kay will be joined by April Hunter.
“I am excited about the match,” she said. “She’s done a lot. We’ve been wrestling for about the same time. She’s been to TNA, but I’ve been to Japan, and she hasn’t. I’ve been to China, and she hasn’t. I’ve been to England and am pretty sure she hasn’t.”
Most recently, Kay traveled to Japan where she pushed the envelope, and she plans on bringing her experience to the SHINE ring against Santana.
“I know that no experience can match up to the experience I had there,” she said. “It was a game changer.”
