Interview request for WWE’s newest signee Drax Shadow
After many years of interviewing pro wrestling talent from JBL to JB Cool, Nattie Neidhart to Jimmy Hart, Rocky Maivia to Rocky Johnson, and Billy Fives to Billy Gunn, there is one WWE superstar going today I would really like to ask questions -- especially before the major TV talk shows start calling, and he becomes even bigger and thus limiting his availability.
Hence, Conan, Fallon, Kimmel. Kelly & Michael. Letterman may even come out of retirement for this one.
And no wonder.
He’s not only an inspiration to all but the embodiment of a WWE superstar, of WWE Tough Enough. (Not ZZ. I already interviewed him.)
Now that he is officially under WWE’s umbrella, I would like to formally request interviewing WWE newest signee Drax Shadow.
A lifelong fan, he auditioned for WWE Tough Enough as Maddle (birth name Elijah Mainville).
WWE putting smiles on faces while doing good for others. Thanks to WWE Executive Vice President (Talent/Live Events/Creative) Paul Triple H Levesque and WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, his California dreaming became WWE reality.
With his favorite WWE superstar Stardust by his side, an excited Drax Shadow inked the deal in the ring just after WWE Monday Night Raw on Aug. 3 before a supportive audience at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.
The SAP Center is accustomed to grandiose WWE occasions. The venue also housed the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. Maybe Drax Shadow will be a WWE Hall of Famer one day. He’s already introduced a crowd-pleasing, Hall of Fame worthy catch phrase.
“Don’t fear the darkness. Fear the Shadow.”
My questioning for Drax Shadow includes the creation of his ring name, how he devised his catch phrase, where he’s keeping his copy of the WWE contract, does he have an agent, did he meet Paul Heyman, did anyone sign his Money in the Bank briefcase, discussing his inspirations like Stardust and Undertaker, preparing for WWE superstardom, who he would like to face in a WWE ring, a dream match with Iron Man at WrestleMania, what he likes to do away from the ring, is he supporting WWE Hall of Famer Donlad Trump, top snack, appearing at comic-cons and whatever else we can cover in the allotted time.
So WWE, Drax Shadow, Drax’s representation, Drax’s mom, let me know if we can make this happen -- the exclusive to reveal what only the Shadow knows.
And as always, thank you for your time.
