David Feldman bringing action-packed BKFC to Hard Rock Live near Hollywood for the fifth time

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship founder and president David Feldman is gearing for BKFC-38 on Friday, April 21 in South Florida, a regular stomping ground.

This is the fifth event BKFC has promoted at Hard Rock Live inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Hollywood. They’ve all been action-packed.

With the previous four each setting attendance records for combat sport events at the venue, another sold-out crowd is expected for this event as South Florida is a hotbed of BKFC fans.

Here is my video interview with BKFC founder and president David Feldman as he discusses BKFC-38, Hard Rock Live, South Florida, BKFC Fighters, Fans, International Events, Combat Sports, UFC/WWE Merger and more.

BKFC-38 was originally scheduled for Delray Beach in March, sold-out, but the city pulled out. Feldman and his team decided to lock-in a familiar place. Hence, the move a month later south from Palm Beach County to Broward County and Hard Rock Live.

BKFC-38 is headlined by an outstanding featherweight clash between former BKFC world champion Dat Nguyen and former two-time Bellator world champion Daniel Straus. Plus ‘Brutal’ Jake Bostwick, (2-2), of London, England, battles Isaac ‘The Honey Badger’ Doolittle, (3-1), of Manhattan, Kansas. Local fighters are on this massive card, too.

Speaking of England, BKFC is closing in on its 5th anniversary and is seeing extraordinary international growth particularly in the United Kingdom where they will promote its fourth event the night after BKFC-38.

One week after BKFC-38, Feldman is promoting the ‘Bare Knuckle Super Bowl’ in Denver, a huge pay-per-view event on April 29 headlined by Mike Perry vs. Luke Rockhold and Chad Mendes vs. Eddie Alvarez.

“This is the first time we’ve had to postpone and reschedule an event, but we’re thrilled to return to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with the new date of Friday, April 21,” David Feldman, president of BKFC, said in a release. “This is the fifh BKFC event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with our last four breaking attendance records for combat sport events at the venue. We anticipate April 21 to be another massive event for South Florida BKFC fans and strongly encourage fans to purchase in advance.”

Co-featured in the middleweight division, ‘Brutal’ Jake Bostwick, (2-2), of London, England, battles Isaac ‘The Honey Badger’ Doolittle, (3-1), of Manhattan, Kansas. The all-action Bostwick returns to battle following a second-round knockout of Chris Fishgold on August 20 at BKFC-27 in London. Doolittle looks to re-enter the win column following a hard-fought clash with world title challenger Mike Richman on October 15, 2022 in Denver, Colorado.

Fighting in the flyweight division, Tyler Randall, (2-1), of Cape Coral, Florida, hits the squared circle against Chancey ‘Superfly’ Wilson, (2-2), of Wichita, KS. Randall is coming off a hard-fought loss to Cary Caprio on June 24, 2022 at BKFC-26. Wilson also seeks a return to his winning ways after a hotly contested decision to JR Ridge on November 5, 2022 at BKFC-32.

A longtime resident of Vero Beach, Florida, the fan-favorite, Vietnamese-born Dat Nguyen, (3-1), won the BKFC Bantamweight World Title by defeating Champion Johnny Bedford in an outstanding fight at the first KnuckleMania event on February 5, 2021. The all-action Nguyen battled current BKFC Double Champ Luis Palomino at BKFC-22 on November 12, 2021, valiantly losing a hotly contested decision in a sensational two-way battle. Nguyen also holds wins against Abdiel Velazquez and Travis Thompson under the BKFC banner.

Following an acclaimed run in Bellator, Daniel Straus made huge news in the international combat sports world by signing with BKFC in February 2023. He compiled an overall MMA record of 26 wins and ten losses including victories over Patricio Pitbull, Henry Corrales, Marlon Sandro and Pat Curran. His Bellator featherweight world Title victory over Patricio Pitbull was voted MMA Junkie’s Fight of the Month. The fight against Nguyen is his first under the BKFC banner.

The BKFC-38 card will feature additional fights.

All BKFC events are broadcast on the new BKFC App for $7.99 per month,
