Pro wrestling writer Scott Fishman recently caught up with MMA fighter turned WWE diva hopeful Daria Berenato about her elimination Tuesday, July 7 from “WWE Tough Enough” on USA Network.
The 21-year-old may have been cut from the reality show competition, but she remains driven in her pursuit of a contract with the sports entertainment juggernaut.
Berenato’s MMA background includes training at American Top Team in (South Florida) Coconut Creek. The ‘Jersey Devil’ looks to hone her skills in pro wrestling and fuse MMA into her style.
During the interview, she discusses appearing on worldwide television, support from the LGBT community and becoming a WWE fan through television personality Maria Menounos.
