Media Q&A with WWE’s Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque about NXT TakeOver: In Your House and more

Paul Triple H Levesque, executive vice president of Global Talent Strategy & Development for WWE, conducted a conference call Q&A with national and international media on Thursday to hype NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

Levesque talks George Floyd, NXT TakeOver: In Your House, the card, COVID-19, a filmed match and more.

Many international media participated in the Q&A, proving NXT’s growing global appeal.

On a stacked card on Sunday for NXT TakeOver: In Your House, NXT champion Adam Cole, the longest reigning NXT champ, faces Velveteen Dream in a taped Backlot Brawl battle. WWE received rave reviews on its taped Boneyard match between The Undertaker and A.J. Styles at WrestleMania 36 in April.

The stellar show is Sunday streaming live 7 p.m. ET on WWE Network from Full Sail Live at Full Sail University in Winter Park, near Orlando.

Because of health concerns stemming from COVID-19, the event is closed to the public. WWE continues to take precautions with safety rules, guidelines and medical testing.

The Backlot Brawl contest between Cole and Dream was taped, as noted above, but the other standout matches on the card will be broadcast live, with Mauro Ranallo “Mama Mia” and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix calling the action.

Pre-show starts at 6:30 p.m. ET on WWE Network.
