Another UFC main event for this top American Top Team fighter who backs up what she says

It’s not what’s next for top MMA fighter Joanna Jedrzejczyk but who’s next in another UFC main event.

The Polish Power, who calls American Top Team in Coconut Creek her training home, faces UFC Strawweight champ Zhang Weili in the co-main event of UFC 248 on Saturday from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Jedrzejczyk (16-3) looks to recapture the strawweight belt, a title she won in 2015 and defended through 2018. In her last fight, she earned a title shot by beating Michelle Waterson by unanimous decision in October in Tampa.

Weili (20-1) defeated Jessica Andrade by TKO for the title in August in China. This marks her first title defense.

In 2017, Jedrzejczyk successfully defended her title against Andrade by unanimous decision in Dallas.

Weili, 30, is tough, but Jedrzejczyk, 32, is tough, too, and has experience on her side.

Counting this one against Weili, 10 of Jedrzejczyk’s past 12 fights have been championship fights, and eight of her last nine have gone the distance. She has competed in top flyweight and strawweight matches.

Also counting this one, Jedrzejczyk has main evented, co-main evented or been featured on 12 UFC cards.

At NFL Super Bowl Media Row in Miami, here is my video interview with the hard-working and outspoken (she backs it up) Joanna Jedrzejczyk as she discusses the fight, ATT, coffee, sneakers and more.
