Special showing of WWE NXT in Miami captured nicely in photos by Speedy Ruiz
A sold-out crowd packed The Fieldhouse at the Watsco Center at the University of Miami last month for NXT in Coral Gables.
NXT, WWE’s hottest brand, brought some outstanding talent to the venue, and fans had a blast — emotionally invested in the action, antics, verbal jabs and storytelling.
The South Florida patrons appreciated the efforts of NXT Champ Tommaso Ciampa (Champa Ciampa), NXT North American Champ Ricochet, Candice LeRae, Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and Adam Cole), Kairi Sane, Aleister Black, Taynara Conti, Velveteen Dream, Kona Reeves, Bianca Belair, War Raiders, Matt Riddle, Lacey Evans, Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford), Luke Menzies, Adrian Jaoude, Cezar Bononi, Four Horsewomen Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, and more.
NXT rarely travels south of Fort Pierce in Florida, so this was a special occasion.
Referees included two of NXT’s finest — Drake Wuertz and Jessika Carr
And it was a college homecoming for NXT host and ring announcer Sarah Schreiber, who graduated from The U.
