NXT TakeOver: WarGames

NXT TakeOver: WarGames is 8 p.m. ET Saturday, Nov. 18 live on WWE Network during WWE Survivor Series Weekend from the Toyota Center in Houston.

“I’m really excited about NXT this Saturday coming from the Toyota Center in Houston,” Levesque said. “I want to take a minute to thank Houston area, coming off of a massive hurricane, a flooding, a natural disaster of epic proportions.

“We made a decision to stay in the market and to continue forward as that was all happening. Houston is such a great market for us, always has been. Our fan base there is huge, very passionate. So it’s great to see the turnout that is happening here ticket wise and the amount of people who are still invested in coming to WWE programming across all four days -- NXT TakeOver: WarGames on Saturday [Nov. 18] with Survivor Series Sunday [Nov. 19] and then Raw and SmackDown on Monday [Nov. 20] and Tuesday [Nov. 21].

“So it’s just great for us to be able to come in there and hopefully as everybody is getting over that and coming off their World Series victory and all their celebrations, hopefully they’re on the uptake, and we look forward to coming there and making it that much better. Put smiles people’s faces, what we do.”

Matches include:

SAnitY (Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe) vs. Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong vs. The Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly) in a War Games Match

Levesque said: “War Games is an opportunity for us -- in a match that hasn’t been around in some 20 years -- to turn a whole new generation onto what War Games is, what it means. It gives NXT its own unique identity in this space, and I’m really excited about that with SAnitY and Authors of Pain with Roderick Strong and the Undisputed ERA all going at it inside the War Games, two rings, one cage, and that’s going to be amazing. I’m really excited about that.”

NXT Champ Drew McIntyre vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas for the NXT title

Levesque said: “Again, very exciting.”

Ember Moon vs. Kairi Sane vs. Nikki Cross vs. Peyton Royce in a Fatal Four Way Match for the vacant NXT Women’s Championship

Levesque said: “For the NXT Women’s Championship that Asuka vacated.”

Velveteen Dream vs. Aleister Black

Levesque said: “Velevteen Dream, a new, young talent who is making his impact certainly felt.”

Kassius Ohno vs. Lars Sullivan and more.

Levesque said: “Kassius Ohno taking on the freakishly...strong Lars Sullivan.”

Drop kickoff show at 7 p.m. ET.
