Impact Wrestling standout Gail Kim answers plenty of questions

Impact Wrestling hosted a media conference call on Wednesday, Oct. 11 with TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim.

A six-time Knockouts champ, she answered questions about her career, her husband, women’s wrestling and Bound for Glory, where she competes for the Knockouts title in her native Canada. If she wins, she will break the tie with Angelina Love of Knockouts title reigns.

Kim is part of the evolution of the revolution of women’s wrestling. Her matches in TNA with Awesome Kong [2007-08] and later Taryn Terrell [2013] are some of the best all-time (men and women). Main event quality for sure, helping prove what women can do in the ring and how fans will support it.

Kim, 40, is pivotal in the growth of women wrestling. She is wrapping up a stellar in-ring career and has already started transitioning to working behind the camera.

Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory PPV -- under the Anthem Sports & Entertainment banner -- is Sunday, Nov. 5 at the historic Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Kim will compete in a Knockouts Championship Four-Way Match, along with reigning champion Sienna, rival Taryn Terrell and Allie.
