WWE superstar Seth Rollins crashed “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central on Thursday, Feb. 26.
Rollins challenged Stewart to appear on WWE Monday Night Raw on March 2, and an intimidated Stewart eventually accepted the challenge, mustering just enough courage as his show ended. Stewart playfully jumped Rollins from behind, before Mr. Money in the Bank reversed the ‘attack’ and put Stewart in a headlock.
The confrontation stems from a social medial and TV battle between Rollins and Stewart that started earlier in February.
Stewart is a WWE fan, seated ringside for past WWE shows.
On Monday, March 2, rather than watching, Stewart will be the one being watched by the WWE Universe on WWE Monday Night Raw from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Monday Night Raw is 8 p.m. EST live on the USA Network.
It’s is all part of the Road to Wrestlemania 31, which is Sunday, March 29 from Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, Calif. The Super Bowl of pro wrestling/sports entertainment will be live on pay-per-view and WWE Network.
