How much is that World Cup ticket in Miami? See the latest on prices

The biggest soccer event in the world is almost here, and Miami will host several matchups. But getting a ticket to the World Cup is a game in itself.

Hard Rock Stadium will host seven of the 104 World Cup matches, including round-of-32, quarterfinal and Bronze Medal matches. Four of the seven matches in Miami Gardens are group stage matches.

With 48 countries participating, this is the largest World Cup tournament yet. The United States, Canada and Mexico are hosting matches across North America.

So, how much is a ticket?

FIFA, the World Cup governing body, says face value tickets start at $60 for group matches.

“FIFA’s pricing strategy spans a broad range of price points and categories, reflecting market demand for each match,” FIFA said in a statement.

But the ticket prices on the resale secondary market tell a different story. Tickets at face value are no longer available for the Miami matches. Now, the lowest priced ticket to see the action at Hard Rock Stadium is nearly six times that amount.

FIFA has its own resale marketplace, and its prices mirror those of resell sites including StubHub and SeatGeek.

Here’s what pricing looks like as of Tuesday to see one of the four group matches being hosted at Hard Rock Stadium:
