The Miami Hurricanes continue to add to their offensive line of the future via the recruiting trail.

Miami on Wednesday received an oral commitment from Tyler Ford, a three-star Class of 2027 offensive tackle prospect from Gainesville, Georgia.

Ford is Miami’s 10th overall commitment in the Class of 2027 and the third offensive lineman of the bunch, joining Fort Pierce John Carroll’s Sean Tatum and Wellington Palm Beach Central’s Zaquan Linton.

Ford, listed at 6-5 and 325 pounds, is the No. 59 offensive tackle prospect and No. 661 overall prospect nationally regardless of position according to the 247Sports composite ranking.

247Sports’ scouting report describes him as a “Classic downhill offensive tackle that has continued to reshape his body” but notes that he “should be viewed as a young developmental lineman with multi-year starter upside at the Power Four level.”
