ACC releases final availability report for Hurricanes vs. Hokies. Who’s in? Who’s out?
The No. 13 Miami Hurricanes are poised to have reinforcements against Virginia Tech on Saturday (noon, ESPN).
According to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s final availability report released Saturday morning, running back Mark Fletcher Jr. and wide receiver CJ Daniels are both available for the Hurricanes.
Meanwhile, cornerback OJ Frederique Jr., who was listed as a game-time decision, is trending toward missing his fourth consecutive game as he was not dressed out or active during warmups. Additionally, defensive tackle David Blay Jr. will miss his second consecutive game. Justin Scott will start for a fourth consecutive game, filling in that role for Blay this week and last and doing so for Ahmad Moten Sr. the two weeks before that.
Daniels, who leads the Hurricanes with six touchdown catches, has not played the past three games — a loss to SMU and wins over Syracuse and NC State. Neither has Frederique.
Meanwhile, Fletcher has missed the past two games after getting injured late against SMU.
And Moore got hurt late last weekend against NC State.
