The No. 2 Miami Hurricanes have a relatively clean bill of health entering their home game against the Louisville Cardinals on Friday (7 p.m., ESPN).

No Hurricanes starters or players expected to have significant roles are listed on the ACC’s first availability report for the game, which came out Wednesday night. UM has six players listed as out and one listed as questionable.

The one listed as questionable: Linebacker Bobby Washington Jr., who has primarily been a special teams contributor in his UM career. The six listed as out are defensive lineman Hayden Lowe, wide receiver Chance Robinson, tight ends Jackson Carver and Dylan Reiman, and offensive linemen Ralph Scroggins and Demetrius Campbell.

Louisville, meanwhile, has listed defensive back Rodney Johnson and running back Keyjuan Brown as probable, defensive lineman Micah Carter as questionable and eight players (linebacker Stanquan Clark; quarterback Travis Egan; running backs Duke Watson, Jamarice Wilder and Shammai Gates; and offensive linemen Naeer Jackson, Mak Pounders and Tyler Folmar) as out.

Breaking down the ACC’s availability reports

The first is released two nights before the game (Wednesday in this case), the second the night before the game (Thursday in this case) and the third two hours before kickoff (so 5 p.m. Friday in this case).

Reports submitted before game day will have four potential designations: Available, probable, questionable and out. The league defines those four designations as follows...

Available: “Fully available to play in the game.”

Probable: “Likely to play; greater than 50% chance.”

Questionable: “Uncertain to play; less than 50% chance.”

The report released on game day have three status designations for players: Available, game time decision and out and are defined as follows

Available: “Fully available to play in the game.”

Game Time Decision: “Final decision will be made closer to the game.”
