The Miami Hurricanes have a running back for their 2026 recruiting class with Javian Mallory, out of West Boca Raton High, committing to UM on Saturday.

Mallory, listed at 5-11 and 200 pounds, is a four-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite ranking, which also has him as the No. 22 overall running back in the class, No. 44 prospect from Florida regardless of position and No. 302 prospect nationally.

Last season, Mallory ran for 676 yards with 10 touchdowns on 67 carries — an average of 10.1 yards per carry — for West Boca.

Mallory is the sixth player to pledge to Miami’s Class of 2026 and the fourth blue-chip prospect.

The rest of the class as of Saturday: Carol City four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell, Charlotte Myers Park four-star cornerback Camdin Portis, Seffner Armwood four-star cornerback Jaelen Waters, Orlando Jones three-star quarterback Dereon Coleman and Mineral City (Ohio) Tuscarawas Valley three-star offensive lineman Ben Congdon.
