First it got the Tecmo Bowl treatment. Then there was a shirt. Now — a Miami Miracle song
Dolphins fans can relive the Miami Miracle through highlight videos, the Tecmo Bowl version, a T-Shirt commemorating the last-second game-winning play or in song.
Yes, there’s now a song about the Miami Miracle.
Set to the tune of Childish Gambino’s hit song, “This is America,” Miami-based music artist Solo D put together the Miami Miracle theme song.
It begins:
This was America.
Shout-out to Kenyan Drake.
Shout-out to Kenny Stills.
Shout-out to Tannehill.
This was a Miracle.
There’s even praise for a specific New England Patriots player: tight end Rob Gronkowski, who was on the field for defense to prevent a last-second miracle.
Oops.
Shout-out DeVante Parker.
Shout-out to all the blockers.
Shout-out to GRONK!
The play, called Boise, created pandemonium inside Hard Rock Stadium. Dolphins fans went ballistic, while Patriots fans were left in shock.
Solo D captures this in the song, too.
I mean, then of course you’ve got all the Patriots fans like ‘Oh, y’all acting like y’all just won a playoff game or something.’
The song with a video can be seen below:
Solo D also created the University of Miami’s “Turnover Chain” song.
