Editorial Board’s endorsements for primary elections

Registered voters in Florida will be able to cast ballots in the Aug. 18 primary election through vote-by-mail, early voting or voting on Election Day. Voters will decide races for judges, the school board, the county commission, state Legislature, U.S. Senate, U.S. House and governor.

For the Aug. 18 primary, The Editorial Board will issue endorsements in a number of races including governor, U.S. Senate, school board, County Commission, the Florida House and Senate and circuit and county judge.

Early voting begins Aug. 3 through Aug. 13 at eight locations across Miami-Dade County. Vote-by-mail ballots went out July 9. Residents can find their Election Day polling location on the Supervisor of Elections’ website.

The general election is Nov. 3, and the Board will issue additional endorsements then.
