What’s Hurricane Erin doing to Florida? See for yourself on these live cams

As Hurricane Erin churns off the U.S. East Coast, live stream cameras along Florida beaches and across North Carolina are capturing the storm’s impacts. Expect heavy surf and riptides in Florida.

Live cam viewpoints of the storm include Broward County, the Treasure Coast, Daytona Beach and Key West.

The National Weather Service says swells from Erin could begin reaching Florida shores on Wednesday, with a peak on Thursday or Friday. That could push waves three to five feet higher than normal in some spots on the central and north Florida coast. While a surfer’s dream. Hurricane Erin could make rough conditions for sailors offshore, and stir up rip currents at some Florida beaches.
