The strongest cold front in more than 15 years, one that could rival the deep freeze of 1989 that led to widespread crop damage around the state, will bring freezing temperatures in the low-30s as far south as Miami-Dade by Sunday morning, the National Weather Service in Miami said in an alert Thursday.

Forceful wind chills in the 20s across all of South Florida will bite us into Monday morning.
