Heavy rain is forecast for South Florida on Tuesday as more flood alerts follow Monday’s deluge.

Miami-Dade and Broward counties are under a flood watch through Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Around two to four inches of rain, with some areas seeing up to eight inches, can be expected, similar to Monday’s conditions, according to the weather service. Areas that were hit hard on Monday could get more flooding.

Monday’s forecast brought flash flood warnings, advisories to avoid the MacArthur Causeway due to flooding and delayed flights at airports.

This report may be updated as more weather related alerts are issued.
