A rollover crash involving an Acura on Interstate 395 in Miami has sent traffic into gridlock during Thursday’s morning rush hour.
The white Acura rolled over after it collided with a gray Lexus sedan in the eastbound lanes of I-395 at North Miami Avenue, right before the Biscayne Boulevard exit, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The interstate connects the Dolphin Expressway with the MacArthur Causeway to Miami Beach.
Both drivers had minor injuries, troopers said. Helicopter video taken by TV news shows heavy backups in the area.
Drivers should avoid the area and seek alternate routes, including Interstate 195.
