A crash involving a Broward deputy shut down a stretch of Interstate 595 near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for more than four hours Tuesday morning.
A Black Honda CRV and a BSO Dodge Charger collided on the Interstate 95 northbound entrance ramp to I-595 eastbound at about 2 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
It’s still unclear how the crash happened or if there were any injuries.

The I-595 eastbound lanes were shut down between I-95 and U.S for the investigation. The Interstate 95 northbound and southbound ramps to I-595 were also shut down to traffic.
The lanes reopened shortly after the morning rush hour began.
Drivers should still expect possible delays.
Troopers say the Broward Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
