A Florida lottery player turned a $2 ticket into a life-changing prize.

The player tried their luck at Cash4Life and wound up winning $1,000 a week for life, the Florida Lottery said. The winning ticket, sold at a Publix supermarket in Orlando, matched five numbers but not the Cash Ball in the March 21 drawing.

The winning numbers were 1-7-9-11-13 and Cash Ball 3, results show.

It was one of two winning tickets in the March 21 drawing, beating odds of 1-in-7,282,016 to snag the second tier prize. Another Cash4Life player hit the jackpot, winning $1,000 a day for life on a ticket sold in Jacksonville, the Florida Lottery said.

Both winning tickets remained unclaimed as of Monday, March 24, according to the lottery.

Winners in Florida have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Florida Lottery said.
