Lottery player wins life-changing prize at Florida Publix. Where was lucky ticket sold?
A stop at a Florida supermarket paid off big for one lucky lottery player.
Someone matched five winning numbers in the Fantasy 5 evening drawing Tuesday, Feb. 18, and won a $108,711.11 jackpot, the Florida Lottery said.
The winner bought the lucky ticket at a Publix supermarket in Largo, beating odds of 1-in-376,992 to win the top prize, according to the lottery.
The winning numbers Tuesday evening were 23-31-33-34-35, results show. Another player won a $53,822.51 jackpot in the Fantasy 5 midday drawing.
According to the Florida Lottery, winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket.
Largo is about a 20-mile drive southwest from downtown Tampa.
