Masseur massaged the husband first. Then he molested the wife, state says

“It is outside the scope of massage therapy to touch or rub a client’s vaginal area or anus.”

The above statement from the Florida Department of Health’s emergency restriction order (ERO) describes part of the reason massage therapist Nelson Blosser may no longer legally put his fingers on the skin of female clients.

Blosser’s been a licensed masseur in Florida since 1993, according to DOH online records. The ERO says he broke the rules when a couple’s regular massage therapist asked Blosser to substitute on Sept. 29, 2019.

What follows comes from the ERO’s Findings of Fact.

After the husband’s massage was finished, he left the office and his wife, S.C., met Blosser in the massage room. While Blosser waited in a restroom, “S.C. removed all articles of clothing, as she usually does when receiving a massage. S.C. laid on the massage table face up and covered herself with the sheet.”

As Blosser proceeded, he rubbed S.C.’s arms and put her hands next to her sides, palms up.

“Mr. Blosser placed his clothed penis and scrotum into S.C.’s hand during the massage,” the ERO said. “Mr. Blosser moaned repeatedly during the massage.”

He then removed the sheet so S.C.’s vaginal area was exposed. Blosser rubbed her groin but also her vagina and clitoris.

After telling S.C. to roll over, Blosser put her hands palms up again and repeated his clothed-penis-and-scrotum placement. He then “rubbed the area around her anus opening.”

Post-massage, S.C. went home and told her regular massage therapist what had happened.

Marion County court records do not show that any criminal charges have been filed against Blosser.
