A rehab center nurse had a camera. Where it was placed got the nurse’s license suspended
A Lauderhill resident can’t be a licensed practical nurse after a rehabilitation facility employee found a camera in a restroom, the Florida Department of Health says.
That’s according to the Emergency Suspension Order on the license of Davidson Rozier, an LPN since July 2018. Rozier worked at 1st Step Behaviorial Health in Pompano Beach until Jan. 11.
On that date, the order says, a 1st Step employee found a camera inside a tissue box atop the toilet tank in a restroom used for client urine samples and by staff. Inside the camera: an SD card with video footage.
Shown were “Client N.R.” using the restroom. Also shown, the ESO says, was Rozier’s face and identification as he took several minutes to set up the camera.
Rozier was fired that day. A check of Broward County Court files shows no criminal charges filed.
